Colt Model 1851 London Navy Revolver

Serial Number 42443    .36 calibre

This very late Hartford-London revolver has the silver plated brass trigger guard and back strap with the bevelled bullet cut out on the barrel. The revolver is in excellent condition with the barrel retaining all of its original high polished blue finish with only some light spots of staining.

The frame, loading lever and hammer all have a very good case hardened finish with a good clear scene on the cylinder. The trigger guard and back strap retain all of their original silver plating, the walnut grip is in excellent condition retaining all of its original finish. The revolver has all matching serial numbers including the wedge with a very good bore and action.
